Commonly Asked Questions
1. When will my CD appear on the site?
You will only see your CD on your
release date. New CD releases are added
each Tuesday afternoon by 6:00 p.m.
If you do not see your CD yet, not to
worry, it will appear once it arrives
to us and is added to the service.
2. Can I see what my CD page looks like?
You sure can. Look under "My CD
Release(s)" for the link "Preview
CD Page" - this is what DJ's see when
they visit your page.
3. How should I send my CDs?
Send your CDs via Airmail. Include your
bio and all contact information as well
as where the CD can be purchased.
4. What are the Charts and how do they
Overall Chart Position
- this is based on the total
number of releases in all genres and your
current chart position based on the number
- these charts are based specifically on
the total number of requests your CD has
had within your selected genres compared
to other artists in the same genres.
5. Do I have to mail my CD to everyone
who requests a copy?
Yes. The premise of the service is that
DJs can preview and request CDs that they
would like for their radio programs and
depend on these CDs arriving. If artists
did not mail CDs to all DJs who request
a copy, then the DJs would stop using the
service and you would not have the opportunities
for airplay that we've spent the past 17
years developing for you and other artists.
So please mail Cds to all DJs who request
6. What if I run out of CDs?
If you run out of CDs or need to take
a break due costs, just let us know and
we can place your CD release into an "off
line" position which means that it
is still in our system but no longer visible
to DJs until you are ready to get started
again. Email email@example.com
please include your name and CD title.
7. I have no feedback yet - how long
does it take?
Quick answer: 30 days from the time you
hit the "CD Shipped" button.
Long Answer: Our system only allows a request
for feedback to be sent to DJs 30 days from
the time you hit the "CD Shipped"
button. This allows 2 weeks to arrive and
another 2 for the DJs to listen and select
the song(s) of choice for programming. It
could take longer as it is at the discretion
of the DJs when and what to play so feedback
could take longer. We do a feedback request
within 4-5 weeks of your release and then
again in another 4 weeks.
You can email us if it's been a while and
you still have not received feedback - we'll
send out a feedback request within 24 hours.
